Hello, I have a Mecool KT1 with Android TV. I bought it mainly because it has a DVB-T2 tuner so I can use it to watch streaming apps and terrestrial television. Honestly I thought this device would last only 5-6 months and then I'd throw it into the trash, but it is still working fairly good after about 10 months.
BEWARE: Firmware support is a mindfield on such DVB devices. Secondly in Europe, you have to deal with 25i/50 Frame Per Second Broadcast TV, and that means you need a device that does auto Frame Rate Matching to sync 50fps Broadcast TV with 50Hz video output on the TV. Otherwise expect some 'loverly' TV viewing playback judder and stutter.
And have 3TB drives lying around like they are garbage, and no set top box I've been able to search for can even install that HDD and take advantage of that extra storage.
